Before you use your humidor

All wooden humidors need to be seasoned before use: (1) to raise the moisture level in the wood so it stays in equilibrium with your cigars, otherwise the wood will rob moisture from them if it is too dry, and (2) so the lid seals as well as it should.

Before using the La Casita de Puros humidor, place two Boveda seasoning packs inside, close the humidor, and leave it sealed for 2 weeks. Boveda seasoning packs (84% RH) and instructions: https://bovedainc.com/store/tobacco/seasoning/

After 2 weeks, replace the seasoning pack (84% RH) with regular Boveda 62%–75% RH: https://bovedainc.com/store/tobacco/boveda-60g/?sg=14

Use one small Boveda packet on top of the shelf and a second large packet on the bottom of the humidor.
